Get it from the store now!
Our 1.0.7 update for TextGuru was approved earlier today, it includes our new speed-scrolling feature for long PDF and Office documents (video preview here).
So after initially being rejected, MediaShare has now finally been approved! In celebration, we’re running a limited-time $0.99 promotion, so get it now while it’s hot!
What is MediaShare?
Most modern mobile phones allow you to transfer your media (videos/pictures etc) to other phones over Bluetooth. While the iPhone has Bluetooth, it doesn’t support file transfers. This is a shame because the iPhone is arguably the best media player on the market, it’s high resolution widescreen aspect ratio leaves other phones in the dust. But you still can’t share that funny video clip with your buddies…
That’s where MediaShare comes in. MediaShare lets you transfer your favorite clips onto your device over Wi-Fi and then share them at super-high wi-fi speeds with friends on the same network. MediaShare uses the same file-sharing protocol in TextGuru making it completely compatible with our Mac and Windows FileServer apps (download for free here).
MediaShare currently supports the following formats (with more to come):
- M4V, MOV, MP4, MPV and 3GP video files
- PNG, TIFF, TGA and JPG picture files
The $0.99 promo is planned to run for the next 7 days, after which the price will be raised back to the original $2.99. Get it now before its too late! Tell your friends!

This week, Apple released the new iPhone/iPod touch firmware, on release, we got our hands on it early on our testing devices and found an issue with the application crashing on saving a file. After further investigation, our team of developers determined that this was caused by a bug introduced in the iPhone/iPod 2.1 Software Update.
That being said, our developers cranked in some overtime and have already fixed that issue. The update has already been submitted to the AppStore and is awaiting approval from Apple, which will hopefully be tomorrow or within the next 2 to 3 days.
Also, due to repeated enquiries, we would like to state that all these updates will be FREE to those who have already bought the app!
On another note, we’re proud to announce that our TextGuru File Server application for Windows is nearing its final stages of development and will be released soon for FREE ! So, keep checking our blog for updates!
Cheers!
Update : Thanks to all those who bought TextGuru, as of today, our promotion is no longer valid and we will be reverting to the original price of $4.99.
