Awesome Guys!!!! I am impressed!!! The only bug I still see out of that long list I wrote was sometimes when navigating back to the documents list page the screen does not show the Documents list - but now it only shows a black screen - still easily fixed by navigating away from the documents page and then back!!
Great job I love this App!!!

Request for 1.0.8: Ability to copy TextGuru docs from the iPhone/iPod touch to the TextGuru file share on my Mac. (Or is that already there and I’m just missing it?)

Document navigation is still an issue (I am editing a 60,000 word txt document. If I were able to search or scroll to the place I want to edit and simply double tap and have the cursor begin editing at that point, I would be able to do everything I need in textguru. Is navigating documents somewhere in the upcoming features?

@baiguai:
Not to worry, we’re working on a sytem that will allow you speed-scroll through your longer documents and bookmark locations. We’ve included this feature for PDF/Office documents in the upcoming 1.0.7 update but it will also find its way into to text documents as well in v1.1.
For a preview of this feature, take a look at this:

Thank you very much! That looks great! — I should have mentioned that the home/end buttons have been a major help. It may sound silly, but I bought the iphone primarily to be able to write novels on it - so I can write anywhere I am. And this is the only app I have been able to do that with. With added navigation I can also proof read my work and make fixes and edits.
Thanks!

What I’m really wanting is bidirectional *automatic* sync with file server component. If this could also be implemented to use EDGE/3G you’d have a game changer! In the app’s “coming soon” features, you mention FTP support. Any update on that?
Thanks a ton!

Never mind, I found out how that works. But another question: How do I edit the office documents I transferred to my ipod touch?

I have been using TextGuru for about 3 weeks now and loving it, I am a field tech and I create a 2 files at each site at about 10 sites per day, My question is, Just how many files can I create, Is there an upper limit?
Also, Have you thought of making a simple .CSV editor.
Thanks again.

Great program.
Two things not so great, though…
- No support for RTF
- Bottom toolbar does not show with PDF or Word docs.

I love TextGuru ! The thing that would make it perfect would be color coded formating for C and objective C files !
Thanks
