Our 1.0.7 update for TextGuru was approved earlier today, it includes our new speed-scrolling feature for long PDF and Office documents (video preview here).

What is MediaShare?

Most modern mobile phones allow you to transfer your media (videos/pictures etc) to other phones over Bluetooth. While the iPhone has Bluetooth, it doesn’t support file transfers. This is a shame because the iPhone is arguably the best media player on the market, it’s high resolution widescreen aspect ratio leaves other phones in the dust. But you still can’t share that funny video clip with your buddies…

• Character, word and paragraph counts.
• Quick navigation of long files using Home/End buttons.
• Easily revert all changes using the “Revert” feature.
• Ability to edit the AutoSave interval.
• Ability to set the minimum limit for displaying your files in an alphabetically organized list.

Enhancements:

• New and greatly improved desktop-style highlighting for selections.
• Shake your device to remove highlights! (tapping anywhere on the screen also works).
• Double-tap at a certain point in “View” mode to begin editing at that location.
• Prompts for overwriting existing files.
• More informative alerts and error messages.

Bug-Fixes:

• Fixes all 2.1-related crashing bugs
• Fix for the issue when replacing text with case-sensitivity.
• All available file encodings are now supported.
• Stability improvements across the board, and fixes to a variety of minor interface glitches reported in v1.0

That being said, our developers cranked in some overtime and have already fixed that issue. The update has already been submitted to the AppStore and is awaiting approval from Apple, which will hopefully be tomorrow or within the next 2 to 3 days.

Also, due to repeated enquiries, we would like to state that all these updates will be FREE to those who have already bought the app!

On another note, we’re proud to announce that our TextGuru File Server application for Windows is nearing its final stages of development and will be released soon for FREE ! So, keep checking our blog for updates!
